About the Event
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 10147 and the City of Apopka would like to invite the public to join us as we honor the lives and legacy of our fallen military heroes at the Veterans Memorial. This is a time to gather and remember the ultimate sacrifice that many soldiers have made in defense of our country and our freedom.
Join us on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 11 AM at the Veterans Memorial at Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery (141 South Edgewood Drive, Apopka, FL).
Guest Speaker for the event will be Brian Fay, Strategic Director (Florida) with Concerned Veterans for America.
Following the ceremony everyone is invited to the VFW Post/Apopka Community Center for hamburgers and hot dogs. The VFW Post is located at 519 S. Central Ave in Apopka.
